Yvette US began with a north-facing porch where nothing green survived the winter. Real plants were replaced one by one with faux stems, and the ones that lasted were the ones with a UV finish and a wire core.
The shop keeps those two tests. Anything that fades in a season, or that cannot be bent into shape, stays out of the range however good it looks in the warehouse.
Bundles are sold by count rather than by look, because twelve stems and twenty-four stems fill very different spaces. Stems that arrive loose are boxed flat so they do not arrive crushed.
Orders are packed by the same small team that answers the email. If a bundle is meant for an outdoor planter, we say so on the listing, and the same goes for the indoor potted sets.
If you have a planter of a particular width and no idea how many bundles will fill it, send the measurements and we will work out the count.
Before you order
Can these be used outdoors all year?
The bundles marked UV resistant are made for porches, patios and borders, and they hold their colour through sun and rain. Bring them in for the worst of winter if the pot itself would crack.
How many bundles fill a planter?
A 12 inch bowl takes roughly four to six stems, and a long border box takes a full 20 or 24 bundle set. The stem length and count are listed on each product so the maths can be done before ordering.
Do they need dusting?
A wipe with a dry cloth every month or two is enough. Rinse outdoor bundles with a hose and let them air dry rather than using polish, which can leave a film on the fabric.
Are the potted sets ready to place?
The small potted stems arrive as a pair with the foliage fixed in the pot, so they can go straight onto a desk or shelf. The larger bundles are loose stems intended for a vase or planter you already own.
